The right material

Each new application is a new project for us in terms of the technical requirements of the molded part. And when the component has to withstand extreme conditions regarding temperature, chemical resistance or mechanical properties, we can offer our clients a range of suitable materials.

These include high-performance elastomers such as HNBR, FKM, FFKM or fluorosilicone and fluorocarbon liquid silicone (F-LSR) in addition to all standard materials such as EPDM, NBR or solid silicone and liquid silicone (LSR).

For every application there are some materials that are better suited than others. With our years of experience, we can help you in the selection process, and in addition we can provide all the conventional materials (both HTV and LSR) or manufacture a special blend for you.

The following table shows a sample of the wide range of the available elastomers:

VMQ (Silicone rubber)

  • Very good resistance against heat
  • Good low-temperature flexibility
  • Very resistant to ozone, aging, and weathering
  • Robust mechanical properties over a broad range of temperature
  • Temperature resistance from -80° C to 250° C
